Are you looking for an authorization for a patient whose care you are involved in or an authorization that created by a different facility?
We are excited to share the details for an enhancement to our portal’s search capabilities, making it easier than ever to find requests directly through the Cohere dashboard's search bar.
How to search for Authorization details for a patient you have previously submitted an auth for:
Patient name: If you search by a patient’s name, you’ll see the request you submitted for that patient, along with all other requests associated with that patient, displayed in the patient summary.
Cohere ID or Authorization ID: If you or someone in your organization has submitted a request and you search for it by Cohere ID or Authorization ID, you will be able to see the associated authorization.
How to search for authorization details for a patient you have not previously submitted an authorization for:
If you or someone at your organization have not previously submitted an auth and you search by patient name, Cohere ID, or Authorization ID, you will be prompted to validate patient details by entering the patient member ID and date of birth. Once these details have been entered, you can see the request and patient in the patient summary.

Now you can search for all your patient requests across multiple health plans--all in one place.
This update eliminates the need to log out and back in when switching between health plans, saving you time and effort.
How it works:
Enter the Cohere portal
Navigate to the "Health Plan" section located on the left side of the Cohere authorizations dashboard.
Select the health plan you wish to search. (Please note: you can only switch to a health plan that is connected to your Cohere account.)
