Geisinger Health Plan Prior Authorization List: DME, Musculoskeletal, Pain, Radiology, & Sleep Services

Overview

Cohere Health, a patient journey optimization company, has been asked to deploy its Digital Prior Authorization solution to allow users to submit a variety of services directly through Cohere’s platform.

  • Starting Oct 1, 2023, Cohere began managing Geisinger Health Plan submissions for most of the following services: DME, radiology, cardiology, musculoskeletal, and pain intervention.

  • Beginning February 16, 2026, Cohere Health® is expanding its partnership with Geisinger Health Plan. Prior authorizations for Sleep - Facility based Polysomnography must be submitted through the Cohere Health portal.
