Cohere Health® manages select prior authorizations in partnership with Novitas, the Medicare Administrative Contractor for Texas.

Beginning January 5, 2026, select prior authorizations should be submitted through the Cohere Health portal for services rendered January 15, 2026 and later. PAL and Documentation Checklists can be found here.

Submitting prior authorizations through the Cohere Health portal is the fastest and most efficient option, helping avoid delays in patient care.

If you already use Cohere Health for other payers, please note that Medicare–Novitas workflows differ and must be followed specifically.
