Working with reusable content blocks

Written by Nicole Saidai

Medical policies often repeat the same criteria, disclaimers, or requirements across multiple sections. Reusable content blocks let you write once and reference everywhere.

Create a reusable block manually for any text you know you'll need again. Write the content once with all formatting—bullets, tables, whatever structure it needs. Save it as a reusable block and give it a clear name like "Standard imaging requirements" or "Age-related contraindications."

When you need that content in another section, insert the reusable block from the block menu. The formatted text appears exactly as you saved it. If you later update the master block, every instance across all policies updates automatically.

This matters most for regulatory language that must stay consistent.
